The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical business unit including Product Management.
This comprises two main functions:
- Oversee the whole product development life cycle from conceptualisation to prototyping until it is ready for delivery to customers.
- Field support for technical sales particularly in regards industrial and liquid nitrogen product offerings.
This is a new role, and the incumbent will have the opportunity to develop the Technical and product team.
Job Functions
Technical and Manager duties and responsibilities
- Developing products through insights from market research and business feedback
- Defining the key features, specifications and requirements of the product based on customer preferences
- Managing the budgets of teams involved with product development
- Assuring timely with product launches in line with product plans
- Conducting competitor research
- Advising on product lifecycle including cost of ownership and obsolescence
- Creating project timeline and implementation schedules for NPD and Upgrades
- Ability to run small projects for larger scale sales installations i.e. Industrial or LN2 projects
- Ability to size installations to meet optimum outcomes
- Train internal and external teams as required
Skills Required
- In depth knowledge of H2/N2 and LN2 gases
- Previous experience managing a technical team
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of best practices and service delivery standards
- Strong leadership ability and team spirit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of relevant software packages particularly CRM
- Fluent French and English
- Five years minimum gases experience
